Please click below to view the dates and to book online. This year we have a wider range of more specialist courses available aimed at providing more activity specific training.

Wilderness first aid is unlike any other first aid training company, our sole aim is the education of those who live, work or play in the great outdoors.

We use a combination of practical & scenario based training, including elements of bushcraft, survival & rescue techniques, which helps you develop an understanding into what can be done with the correct Knowledge in emergency situations.

This truly is a unique course.

Whether you are a commuter travelling to work or a climber ascending Everest, these courses will equip you mentally and physical to deal with the situation.

Our instructors all come from backgrounds in the emergency services Such as the Ambulance service, Fire & Rescue & Coastguard cliff rescue.

They have also travelled in remote locations a round the world & spent the best part of there lives in the great outdoors.

Roy Hopgood and Ben Callaway at work on the notorious cliffs of Beachy head

This is the rescue that won them the life saver of the year award, for the rescue of a student who fell 150 feet down the 554 foot cliffs, she was lucky to land on a fridge which stopped her falling further.

The casualty sustained multiple injuries, including two broken wrists & her back broken in three places. Roy & Ben were able to safely immobilise her & bring her up the cliff. You will be glad to know she has made a tremendous recovery.
