Wilderness Family course (2 day)
This course has been developed to provide families with the opportunity
to experience a mixture of wilderness first aid & bushcraft training, all
While spending time together in the Sussex country side.
The Wilderness family course is taught over two
days & one nights at our base camp style training facility in the East
Sussex country side. It is a practical based course with as little theory
as possible, we find that students take in far more from hands on
learning. This course covers all the requirements of the HSE appointed
Persons certificate. All participants will receive a certificate.
Age Range
This course is open to just about all from 8 to 80, all 8-17 year olds must
be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
The course includes instruction in :
HSE approved first aid training
Bushcraft & Survival
Wilderness Emergencies
Improvised Rescue
This course has no entry requirements
Information
All our courses are run at our base camp style training facility in the
East Sussex countryside, or at avenue of your choice.
The accommodation for our residential courses is arranged in
traditional canvas bell tents or tunnel tents,We also supply camp beds
for all students giving maximum comfort in a wilderness environment.
There will be chances to sleep out if you so wish & you are welcome to
bring your own shelters. All the food for the course is supplied & you
will be Cooking it over open fires.
